About EZC files
The .ezc file extension primarily belongs to EasyCrypt, functioning as an encrypted file archive. A secondary use is for CD or DVD cover designs created by legacy Eazy-Cover or Easy CD Creator software. Finally, a small fraction serves as AutoCAD Ecscad components backup files. You can open EasyCrypt archives using the original EasyCrypt software, provided you possess the decryption password. Cover designs require the specific legacy Eazy-Cover program. The main disadvantage of an .ezc file is its heavily restricted, proprietary nature. EasyCrypt archives are explicitly designed to prevent unauthorized access, making native browsing impossible without decryption. Legacy CD cover layouts rely on obsolete software lacking modern export capabilities, making sharing or printing difficult today. For CD cover files, the ideal conversion targets are PDF or JPG to ensure universal viewing. For archives, decrypting and extracting to a standard ZIP is the ultimate goal. Because these formats are heavily encrypted or rely on obsolete proprietary structures, standard online converters consistently fail. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data. We will inspect the file, and if it is an unencrypted cover layout or a supported embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
