The .EMAP file extension is heavily fragmented, but it is primarily associated with Huawei FusionSolar smart photovoltaic (PV) inverters, where it functions as a diagnostic data log or inspection report file. Alternatively, it is used by eSignal (an ICE Data service) as an encrypted market data chart file, and by the IBM AIX operating system as a performance event map file.
