The .dpd file extension is a classic example of a filename collision, most frequently serving as a Landscape Design Drawing created by DynaSCAPE Design. These files contain 2D CAD vectors, plant lists, and layout data specifically for professional landscapers. The primary frustration for users is the proprietary lock-in; without a licensed copy of DynaSCAPE, these drawings are inaccessible to clients or contractors.
