A .CWZ file is primarily an electronic circuit design and simulation file created by Circuit Wizard. Less commonly, it functions as a crash report context or dump file generated by software like CS Odessa ConceptDraw or Cisco Webex.
The .CWZ format is highly proprietary and closed. It locks user data - such as schematic diagrams, printed circuit board (PCB) layouts, component lists, and simulation models - into a single vendor ecosystem. Users who do not have an active, paid license for Circuit Wizard cannot natively open, view, or edit these schematics.
