Extract text from Embroidery or customs files (BE)

To convert other file formats to the "Customs or Embroidery Data" file type, you need software like Embrilliance or a similar tool.
A .BE file usually contains an Indian Customs Bill of Entry generated by the Indian Customs EDI System (ICES). These files store structured trade data for import clearance. Alternatively, a .BE file functions as an Embroidery working design file created by BriTon Leap Embrilliance. Embroidery .BE files hold stitch data, thread colors, and object properties for computerized sewing machines like those from Brother.
The Indian Customs .BE file is a proprietary data format that requires specialized EDI software or the official portal to parse. You cannot open it natively in Microsoft Excel or standard text editors without encountering raw, unformatted code. The Embrilliance .BE format is a closed, proprietary working file. It requires an active license or specific embroidery software to edit. Sewing machines cannot read the .BE file directly.
Customs files should be converted to PDF or CSV for auditing and record-keeping. Embroidery files must be exported to machine-readable formats like PES, DST, or EXP.
Because both versions of the .BE file are highly specific and often proprietary, standard online converters fail to process them. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data.
