The .VP4 extension typically represents a Machine Embroidery Design created for Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff sewing machines. These files contain vector-based stitch instructions, color changes, and coordinate data used by the machine's needle to replicate a digital design on fabric.
Because .VP4 is a proprietary manufacturing format, it acts as a "digital lock-in."
