The .VNS file extension is a fragmented format used for several completely different purposes. Primarily, it functions as an AISIN AW Car Navigation Data file used by automotive diagnostic tools like Techstream. It is also widely used as an iClone 3D Scene (or Venus 3D model) by Reallusion iClone, and as a project file for the mobile VN Video Editor (VlogNow).
The main disadvantage of .VNS files is their strict vendor lock-in. Formats like the iClone 3D scene are highly proprietary, frequently exceeding 100MB in size, and require expensive software licenses just to open or view the contents. They are not supported by web browsers, and sharing them with non-users is practically impossible without exporting. For video editors, the files are useless outside the specific mobile app unless you know how to reverse-engineer them.
