A .suit file primarily functions as a Mac OS Font Suitcase, a legacy format used by classic Apple Mac OS to bundle screen fonts, TrueType fonts, and font families into a single file. Alternatively, it is heavily used as a Spider-Man Game Suit Mod file for the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man, containing custom character outfits and textures.
Legacy font suitcases were managed natively by older Apple operating systems or font editors like FontForge. The game mod variations are fundamentally standard ZIP archives configured for specific mod managers.
