The .roz file is a proprietary data file created by aSc TimeTables. Schools and universities use it to store complex class schedules, teacher assignments, room allocations, and specific scheduling rules.

The major disadvantage of the .roz format is its closed ecosystem. It is a strictly proprietary file. You cannot open it on a mobile phone, and standard web browsers cannot display it. Exporting to CSV or XLSX allows administrators to import the raw schedule data into other school management databases. Be aware that complex scheduling constraints and rule settings will be lost during export, as target formats only capture the final text output, not the underlying rules.
