About PZX files

A .PZX file is a proprietary compressed game image archive heavily utilized by mobile games developed by Gamevil (now Com2uS Holdings). It bundles essential 2D visual assets like character sprites, UI elements, and background textures into a single, optimized package to reduce mobile installation size. The original mobile game engine (often referred to as the IllusiaEngine or Nexus2) creates and reads these files. Because the format is a closed, obfuscated container, standard archive managers like WinRAR or 7-Zip cannot extract the contents directly. This is highly frustrating for modders, wiki maintainers, or fan-art creators who want to access the raw graphics. You cannot simply view these files natively in any modern operating system or web browser. Users typically want to convert or extract the internal contents to standard raster images like PNG or JPG, or repackage them as a standard ZIP. Since these assets are often compressed with customized zlib variants, extracting them requires specialized decryption.

Convert.Guru analyzes your PZX file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted PXZ, MPL, EPS, JPG and CPT files.
