About PDG files

The .pdg file extension primarily denotes a Digital Book Page associated with SSReader (Superstar) and Founder Apabi, widely used for digital libraries and academic archives in China. These files function similarly to raster images, where each .pdg file typically represents a single scanned page of a book.

The Problem: The native environment for these files is the proprietary SSReader software. Users often deal with issues because:
1. One-Page-Per-File: A single book often consists of hundreds of loose .pdg files rather than a single document.
