Extract text from PowerBuilder libraries (PBL)

Similarly, DVR playlist .PBL files are locked to specific NVR hardware, making them useless when you need to share security footage metadata with law enforcement or clients.
To access the data without expensive software, conversion or extraction is necessary. For PowerBuilder files, developers often need to extract the source code into readable SRD or TXT files for version control. If your .PBL is a ProLaw report, you should convert it to PDF or DOCX for standard business sharing. For DVR files, extracting the raw text data to CSV or TXT allows you to read the timestamps.
