The .nsa file extension is primarily used as a Noteshelf notebook archive file by the note-taking application Noteshelf, developed by Fluid Touch. Alternatively, it can represent an obsolete Nullsoft Streaming Audio file originally used by Winamp.
The primary disadvantage of the Noteshelf .nsa format is its heavily proprietary nature. It is designed purely as a backup and restore container for the Noteshelf ecosystem. You cannot natively view these files in web browsers, and they require the original paid application to open properly.
