About LP4 files
The .LP4 extension refers to two distinct file types used in specialized hardware workflows. The most common (55%) is a Loupedeck Device Profile, a configuration package used by Loupedeck consoles (like the Loupedeck CT or Live) to store button mappings, macros, and dial adjustments. Internally, these are often renamed ZIP archives containing XML data and icon assets. Users frequently struggle to open them because they are proprietary containers designed solely for import into the Loupedeck software, making it difficult to view keymaps or extract custom icons without the hardware attached.
The second type (25%) is an Industrial Label Design created by Logopak systems, specifically for their LabelPrint 4 software. These files drive high-speed thermal transfer printers on factory floors. They are strictly proprietary and cannot be opened by standard image viewers like Photoshop or Paint. To make these files accessible for proofing or archiving, the best approach is converting them to PDF (for document sharing) or PNG (for visual inspection). For Loupedeck files, changing the extension to ZIP often allows for immediate extraction of internal assets.
Convert.Guru analyzes your LP4 file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
Users also converted LUP, NIP, ZONE and LP3 files.
