The .logonxp file format is a custom visual theme package designed specifically for the Windows XP logon screen. These files were created and managed using Stardock LogonStudio, a popular desktop customization utility from the early 2000s. The main disadvantage of the .logonxp format is its extreme obsolescence. It is permanently tied to an unsupported operating system and relies on a legacy proprietary utility. You cannot apply these theme files to Windows 10, Windows 11, or macOS. They are essentially useless on modern hardware without a specific vintage environment or virtual machine.
