A .logonvista file is a proprietary system theme file used to customize the Windows Vista logon screen. These files are generated and applied by Stardock LogonStudio Vista. They contain the background image and configuration data required to replace the default Windows Vista login background.
The primary disadvantage of the .logonvista format is obsolescence. Windows Vista is a discontinued operating system, and modern Windows versions handle logon screens entirely differently.
