The extension is also utilized by LG Android devices for phone backups (structured internally as ZIP files), BarTender for label design templates (using the Microsoft Compound format), and PerkinElmer ChemOffice for electronic laboratory notebooks.
Because the .LBK format is heavily fractured and relies on proprietary frameworks, these files are notoriously difficult to work with outside of their native environments.
