About HTMI files
The .HTMI file is a HyperText Media Interoperable File originally developed by HD WEB France. It was designed to bundle hypertext and media for specific, interoperable web deployments outside standard conventions. There is virtually no modern software that supports this file natively, as it never became an accepted W3C standard.
Users need to convert this file because it is a closed, proprietary format with severe compatibility limitations. Modern web browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox cannot render .HTMI files. Because the structure is undocumented, standard online converters fail to process it, leaving users with unreadable data.
To restore usability, you should target standard formats like HTML for web rendering or TXT to safely extract the raw code. Because this file format is difficult to open or convert, often only the original HD WEB France tools could properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format - like standard HTML tags wrapped in the proprietary container - viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your HTMI file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert HTMI file to ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, LZMA, CAB, ACE, ARJ or LHA, you can use HD WEB Tools or similar software from the "Web Media Packaging" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert XXE, 7Z, Z, PAK, LHA, DEB, UUE, TAR, LZH, ZIP, PKG or RAR files to HTMI, try HD WEB Tools or another comparable tool in the "Web Media Packaging" category.
The HTMI Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our HTMI converter.
