The Gearlock variant is fundamentally a standard 7-Zip (7Z) compressed archive disguised with a custom extension. It stores system mods, scripts, and recovery tools for Android-x86 systems. The Wii U variant, often managed via CRIWARE middleware, acts as a closed resource container storing textures and graphic assets for console games.
