The .GTD file extension primarily represents a Gerber Tool Database or Gerber Translation Data file. This format is heavily utilized by Cadence OrCAD and GerbTool to store Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout configurations and manufacturing data.
In completely different industries, a .GTD file can also be a Recorder Measurement Data file generated by Yokogawa SMARTDAC+ data acquisition systems, or an HMI Project Data file used by Mitsubishi Electric GT Designer (GOT2000 series).
