In other specialized industries, it functions as a Construction Cost Estimation file for AMP Yazılım OSKA, a Graphing Tool File for OriginPro, or a Geological Mining Plot in Gemcom Software.
Most .GGP files are highly proprietary and purpose-built for closed hardware or expensive software ecosystems. For example, automotive .GGP files are compiled binaries used to update diagnostic databases or scanner firmware. This means they cannot be opened by standard text editors or web browsers.
