The .GCG extension typically refers to a Digital Logic Circuit file used by educational simulation software like LogicCircuit or Logisim. These XML-based files contain the architecture of digital logic gates (AND, OR, NOT), wires, and inputs used by students and engineers to simulate CPU designs. A significant issue is that .GCG files are strictly proprietary project files; they cannot be viewed in standard browsers or image editors, and attempting to open them in a text editor reveals raw XML code rather than the visual schematic.
