Extract text from Logic circuit files (GCG)

The .GCG file extension primarily acts as an XML-based logic circuit design file used by LogicCircuit or Logisim, or as a legacy genetic sequence data file developed by the Genetics Computer Group (GCG). Less commonly, it stores vector fonts for Galstar ISIS software or crossword game logs for Woogles.io.
The biggest disadvantage of the .GCG format is its severe fragmentation. Because multiple unrelated programs use the exact same extension, standard operating systems cannot identify or open them natively. Logic circuit .GCG files contain proprietary schematic mappings; while the underlying code is XML, standard web browsers cannot visualize the logic gates. Meanwhile, biological .GCG files are an outdated ASCII format that lacks the robust metadata support found in the modern, universally accepted FASTA standard, causing compatibility errors in current bioinformatics pipelines.
