Extract text from program and backup files (FXI)

To convert other file formats to the "Hardware Device File" file type, you need software like Casio FA-124 or a similar tool.
The .FXI file extension primarily represents a Casio Calculator Add-in Program or a WatchGuard Firebox Backup Image. On Casio graphing calculators, these files are used to install extra utilities, games, or advanced mathematical functions. For WatchGuard Technologies hardware, they act as secure firewall configuration backups containing routing rules and policies.
The main disadvantage of .FXI files is that they are closed, proprietary hardware formats. A Casio add-in file is compiled for a specific calculator processor and cannot run natively on Windows, Mac, or within a web browser. Similarly, WatchGuard backups contain encrypted network configurations that cannot be opened or edited as normal text. This means you cannot simply convert an .FXI file into a standard PDF, DOCX, or JPG document for easy reading.
Because these formats are heavily restricted to specific devices, standard online converters fail to process them. They do not hold standard document, image, or media data. Often, only the original hardware or specialized companion software like WatchGuard System Manager or Casio FA-124 can properly read, apply, or export the data.
