Extract text from Floorplanner and formula files (FML)

The .FML extension is heavily overloaded, but it most commonly functions as a Floorplanner Project File used by the Floorplanner web application to save 2D and 3D room layouts. Internally, these files are structured as standard XML or JSON data. A secondary, but common, use for the .FML extension is storing Financial Indicator Formulas or stock analysis databases (often using SQLite or SQL) for trading software like MetaTrader 4, DZH Dazhihui, and ShareInvestor.
The Problem: Because the .FML extension is used by completely unrelated industries, identifying the file's origin is frustrating. Furthermore, these files are proprietary. Floorplanner .FML files cannot be opened by standard desktop CAD software because they store cloud-asset references rather than raw geometric data. Financial .FML files are equally stubborn, locking your custom trading algorithms inside specific broker platforms. You cannot natively preview them on Windows, macOS, or mobile devices.
