About FLS files
The .FLS file extension is heavily fragmented and used by entirely different systems. The most common uses are hardware firmware updates (like those for Lexmark printers, Caterpillar engines, or Dahua cameras), network simulation projects for the Filius network simulator, 3D laser scans for FARO Scene, and digital recording logs for FTR Reporter. Because this extension is shared across so many industries, standard converters usually fail to process it. Firmware files are proprietary binary blobs that should not be converted, as modifying them will brick the target device. Conversely, Filius project files are actually standard ZIP archives in disguise, and FTR log files are plain XML. This makes managing .FLS files extremely confusing for users. Our analyzer will inspect the file signatures. If it detects an underlying ZIP, XML, or Microsoft Compound format, viewing or conversion to standard archive or text formats may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your FLS file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
Users also converted FL2, SCANDATASTREAM0, SCANDATASTREAM1, FLS 2, LOG, TXT, FLP, BIN, PDF, BV1 and E57 files.

The FLS Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our FLS converter.
