The .EZB file extension is shared by three entirely different file types: an XML-based robot project configuration file used by EZ-Builder, a ZIP-compressed electronic bid package used by EasyPower, or a bootable menu configuration file used by EasyBoot. Users typically manage these files with EZ-Builder by EZ-Robot, EasyPower, or EasyBoot.
These proprietary formats are highly specialized and notoriously difficult to handle outside their native environments. Sharing an .EZB robot project with someone who does not have EZ-Builder installed means they cannot view the 3D layouts or scripting. Similarly, an EasyPower tender package is useless without the right software, locking up critical bidding documents. Standard web browsers and mobile devices cannot natively open or interpret these files.
For EZ-Builder files, converting or renaming the file to XML or TXT is the best workaround. This allows you to read the raw underlying script and configuration data in any text editor. For EasyPower bid packages, the best approach is to extract the contents to ZIP, as the file is simply a renamed archive.
