About DYLIB files
The .DYLIB file format is a compiled Mach-O dynamic library used by Apple operating systems like macOS and iOS to share code and resources between multiple applications at runtime. Developers primarily generate these files using compilers within Xcode. Users often attempt to convert .DYLIB files when trying to port a Mac application to Windows or Linux. The format's main disadvantage is strict platform dependency. It is completely useless outside the Apple ecosystem, and because it is compiled binary code, it cannot be read in a standard text editor. It acts as a black-box, making debugging difficult for non-developers. Converting a .DYLIB file directly into a Windows DLL or Linux SO is impossible because the underlying CPU instructions and OS APIs differ drastically. If you need the code on another platform, you must recompile the original source code. Reverse-engineering tools can decompile the binary into Assembly (ASM) or C (C) code, but original variable names and comments will be permanently lost. This file format is exceptionally difficult to process because it contains machine code, not human-readable document data. Standard online converters fail completely.
