It is also utilized as a 3D character definition file in MMORPGs like Cabal Online and Granado Espada, as an AutoCAD Standards Check File by Autodesk, and as a pile foundation analysis data file by Pile Dynamics.
The main disadvantage of the .CHX format is its heavily siloed, proprietary nature. Unless you are using the specific host application, these files are largely useless to the average user.
