The .CEN file extension is primarily associated with Waves Central installer files used by Waves Audio to manage, download, and install audio plugins. Internally, these files are structured as JSON and contain critical configuration data. Additionally, .CEN files function as combat encounter logs or game saves in the MMO Swords of Legends Online, and as compressed price lists using zlib compression in WH Okna software.
These files are highly specialized and proprietary. The main disadvantage of a .CEN file is its lack of native compatibility with standard operating systems. Unless you have the specific software installed - such as Waves Central - you cannot readily open or execute the file.
