About BWZ files

.BWZ files are WinImage Batch Configuration Files created by the WinImage disk imaging software developed by Gilles Vollant. They store saved parameters for automating repetitive disk imaging tasks, such as creating, extracting, or injecting files into disk images in bulk.

The main disadvantage of the .BWZ format is its highly specialized, proprietary nature. These files are useless without WinImage installed. If you switch to a different disk imaging tool or need to document your backup procedures, the settings are locked inside this file. You cannot natively export these batch configurations to standardized scripting formats like BAT or PS1.

Because this is a closed, proprietary settings format, standard online converters fail to process it. Usually, only the original software can properly read or execute the data. If our analysis detects underlying text or embedded configurations, viewing or partial conversion to TXT or XML may still be possible to help you manually recreate your automated tasks.

Convert.Guru analyzes your BWZ file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted WIL, WLZ and IMZ files.
