A .BSDL (Boundary Scan Description Language) file is a specialized hardware description text file used to define the testability features of digital electronics. Based on the IEEE 1149.1 standard, these files are a subset of VHDL that describe the boundary-scan logic (JTAG) within an integrated circuit, allowing engineers to test pin connections without physical probes.
