About BND files

The .BND file format typically serves as a proprietary archive bundle used in video games developed by FromSoftware (such as Dark Souls and Armored Core) to store 3D models, textures, and map data. Alternatively, it is used by IBM DB2 as a compiled binary of SQL statements, or by Autel OBD2 diagnostic scanners to store vehicle scan metadata. Opening these files is notoriously difficult. Game binders are heavily custom-compressed, requiring specialized community tools like UXM or Yabber to unpack assets. IBM DB2 bind files are completely useless outside a live database environment, trapping your data in a proprietary binary block. Autel files artificially lock your scan reports into their specific diagnostic hardware ecosystem. To bypass these limitations, you must convert or extract the file contents. For FromSoftware archives, we recommend converting to ZIP so you can easily browse the internal textures and models. If your file is an Autel diagnostic log, converting it to XML, CSV, or TXT will make the vehicle scan data instantly readable on any computer or phone.

Convert.Guru analyzes your BND file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

Users also converted MESH, TPF, MP4, PK, 7, MFI, MYR and PHP files.
