About BLC files

The .blc file extension primarily serves two highly specialized purposes: a Minecraft game replay file for the Badlion Client and a Dental CAM material blank used by hyperDENT software. Additionally, it is sometimes used for generic Binary Level Code files in older software systems. The primary disadvantage of the .blc format is its proprietary nature. If you receive a Badlion Client replay file, it is essentially useless without installing the specific third-party client. It is not a video file; rather, it contains raw game coordinate data and events. You cannot natively upload it to video sharing sites or share it on social media. Similarly, the hyperDENT .blc files are closed-ecosystem archives used strictly in professional dental milling workflows. Standard online converters fail to process .blc files because the format lacks a public specification. Converting a Badlion replay to an MP4 video requires rendering the 3D game environment in real-time, which only the original game engine can do. For the hyperDENT files, the internal format is actually a standard ZIP archive, meaning the data is compressed but hidden behind a custom extension.
