The primary disadvantage of the .BAK1 format is that it is proprietary and cannot be read by standard text editors or browsers. You do not typically convert a .BAK1 to standard formats like PDF or JPG. Instead, the best target format is its original state, which requires renaming the file extension back to its original format, such as removing the .BAK1 to leave player.
