Extract text from Skin and CAD archives (ASZ)

A .ASZ file is primarily used as an AlphaControls skin package file for Delphi and C++Builder applications, or as a compressed project archive in engineering software. Depending on its source, it might contain customized graphical user interface elements, a KUKA robot project archive created in KUKA WorkVisual, or a CAD drawing layout exported from Nemetschek Allplan or ArchiCAD.
These files are highly proprietary and frustratingly closed. They require specialized, often expensive desktop software to open or edit. You cannot open an .ASZ file natively in a web browser, and without the original software, the raw data remains locked away. Furthermore, an .ASZ file tied to a robotic assembly or architectural design cannot be easily shared with clients who do not hold a license for Siemens Simatic Step 7 or KUKA software.
Because standard online converters do not support these specialized schemas, attempting to convert an .ASZ file directly to common formats like PDF or DWG usually fails. However, underneath the proprietary extension, CAD and AutoPlay Script .ASZ files are frequently just standard GZIP or ZIP archives.
