The .ysp file extension represents a diverse set of data formats, most commonly associated with YTD Video Downloader as a temporary or incomplete video file. When a video download is in progress or interrupted, the software may generate a .ysp container to hold the raw stream data before finalizing it into a standard MP4 or AVI. Users commonly have issues here: these files cannot be opened by standard media players like VLC or Windows Media Player because the file headers are missing or incomplete. To resolve this, the download must typically be resumed and completed within the original software; in some rare cases, simply renaming the extension to MP4 may allow playback if the stream was fully written but not finalized.
