The .WHE file extension primarily denotes a Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Entity File, developed by Relic Entertainment. These files contain critical game data outlining the properties, behaviors, and 3D interactions of in-game units. Both applications use highly proprietary, closed binary formats. The game files are compiled into the "Relic Chunky" container format.
