About VIZ files

The .VIZ extension usually identifies an Audio Visualizer Template created for Avee Music Player, a popular Android application used to create spectrum-based music videos. Technically, these files are ZIP archives containing JSON configuration data and image assets (logos, backgrounds, particles).

Users often download .VIZ files expecting a playable video, only to find that standard media players like VLC or Windows Media Player cannot open them. This is because the file is merely a "recipe" instructing the app how to render the graphics in real-time based on audio input; it does not contain the rendered video itself. Furthermore, because the format is specific to the mobile app, editing these templates on a desktop requires Android emulators like BlueStacks or extracting the internal assets manually.

For Editing: Export as MOV or high-bitrate AVI if you plan to composite the video in software like Adobe After Effects.
