A .UC2 file is primarily associated with u-blox GNSS receivers as a binary log file created by the u-center evaluation software. These files contain raw Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data captured during field tests, recording proprietary binary messages that standard text editors or GIS tools cannot interpret. The main frustration for users is that .UC2 files are locked into the u-blox ecosystem; you cannot simply drop them into Google Earth or open them in Microsoft Excel to analyze the coordinates.
