To convert SHE drawings to another format, you need Cadwork or other Cad software.
To convert other file formats to the "2D CAD Drawing" file type, you need software like Cadwork or a similar tool.
A .she file is primarily a 2D CAD drawing sheet used by Cadwork CAD/CAM software, which is widely utilized in timber construction. Alternatively, it can be a 3D shoe design CAD file created with Shoemaster, an application skin for SkinCrafter, or a reinforcement steel schedule in Nemetschek Allplan.
These are highly proprietary, niche industry formats. Users without specialized, expensive software like Cadwork or Shoemaster cannot open, view, or print .she files. Sharing them with clients or non-technical stakeholders is virtually impossible without requiring costly licenses, and the format is entirely unsupported by web browsers or standard image viewers.
To make these drawings usable, you must convert them to standard vector or document formats like DWG, DXF, or PDF. Converting to PDF will flatten layers and make the file easy to view but uneditable, while DWG preserves CAD geometry but may lose software-specific parametric properties like timber joints or shoe material data.
Because .she is a closed, proprietary format, standard online converters usually fail to process it. Often, only the original software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
