About SEAM files

A .seam file is technically a server-side artifact generated by the JBoss Seam Framework, a platform used to build enterprise Java EE web applications. In most real-world scenarios, users encounter this file type not as a source code file, but as a "misnamed" download. When a web application generates a dynamic report, invoice, or page view (often mapped to a *.seam URL pattern), the browser may inadvertently save the file with the .seam extension rather than the correct PDF or HTML suffix.
