Extract text from RW3 files

The .rw3 extension represents a classic "data silo" problem in two distinct environments: scientific education and legacy web design.
In 95% of cases, an .rw3 file is a dataset created by Regressi, a specialized Windows application used extensively in physics and chemistry education (particularly in France) to analyze experimental data. These files contain raw measurements (time, voltage, pH), calculated variables, and graph configurations.
The Problem: The format is proprietary and often binary-encoded. Without the specific educational software installed, your experimental data is locked away. You cannot simply double-click to view the graphs in Microsoft Excel or analyze the vectors in Python.

A minority of .rw3 files are project packages from RapidWeaver 3 (circa 2005) by Realmac Software.
The Problem: This is a "fossil" format. Modern versions (RapidWeaver 8+) cannot open version 3 files directly due to significant architectural changes over the last two decades. Users are often left with a website backup they cannot restore.
The Solution: Migration is difficult and often requires finding intermediate versions (like RapidWeaver 5) to "bridge" the upgrade path. Converting the content often involves manually extracting text and assets from the package internals if the software is no longer accessible.
