Convert a file to RDY
To convert other file formats to the "Telemetry Log & Toolpath" file type, you need software like Adobe Creative Cloud or a similar tool.
About RDY files
A .rdy file primarily functions as an application usage log or crash report generated by the Adobe Headlights service. Alternatively, it serves as a specialized CNC router toolpath file for manufacturing, or a database file for Ready Pro ERP systems. You can open the log variants with basic text editors, while the toolpath files require specialized manufacturing software like SAi EnRoute or Thermwood Cut Ready. These formats present distinct challenges for modern users. The Adobe logs contain raw telemetry data that is difficult to parse or read. The CNC toolpath variant is a highly proprietary, closed format strictly locked to specific machine controllers. Sharing a .rdy toolpath file with a client using different CAD/CAM software is impossible because the file lacks native browser support and requires expensive ecosystem licenses to open. If you need to analyze the data, converting log variants to TXT or CSV is the best approach. For CNC files, you must use the original software to export to standard vector or instruction formats like DXF or GCODE, though proprietary machine-specific instructions will be lost in the transfer. Because these are proprietary or undocumented formats, standard online converters fail to process them. Often only the original software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, like UTF-8 text or an internal JetDB structure, viewing or conversion may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your RDY file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert RDY file to TMP, TEMP, CACHE, LOG, BAK, OLD, NEW, PART, DOWNLOAD, CRDOWNLOAD, LOCK or PID, you can use Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software from the "Application Log and CNC Toolpath" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert DEVICE, CACHE, SOCK, SYMLINK, PID, MOUNT, FIFO, LOG, PIPE, TMP, JUNCTION or TEMP files to RDY, try Adobe Creative Cloud or another comparable tool in the "Application Log and CNC Toolpath" category.
The RDY Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our RDY converter.
