About QSCX files
A .qscx file is most frequently an encrypted file vault container created by Quick Heal Security software. These files act as secure digital lockers, wrapping standard documents (like PDF or DOCX) or images inside a proprietary encryption layer to prevent unauthorized access. Users typically encounter this format when trying to recover backed-up data or when transferring secured archives between systems.
The main drawback with .qscx files is their proprietary lock-in; they are not essentially 'files' you can view, but rather safes you must unlock. You cannot open them with standard tools like Microsoft Word or web browsers, and they appear as corrupted data to most converters. Additionally, a significant portion of .qscx files are unfortunately associated with QSCrypt ransomware, where personal files are forcibly encrypted and renamed. If your file was not created by you for security purposes, it may be malicious.
For legitimate files, the only 'conversion' path is decryption using the original Quick Heal Total Security software.
Convert.Guru analyzes your QSCX file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert QSCX file to BASE64, HEX, BIN, ENC, CRYPT, AES, DES, RSA, PGP, GPG, ASC or KEY, you can use Quick Heal Total Security or similar software from the "Encrypted File Container" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….

The QSCX Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our QSCX converter.
