About PZS files
A .PZS file is primarily a proprietary Slideshow Project created by older digital imaging software, most notably Ulead Photo Express (now part of the Corel family) or occasionally associated with Photodex ProShow workflows. Unlike standard video files (like MP4 or MOV), a PZS file does not contain the actual photos or music. Instead, it is a lightweight instruction list - a "recipe" - that tells the software which local images to display, what transitions to use, and how to time the music.
Because of this structure, .PZS files are useless if moved to a different computer without the original source images. They cannot be opened by media players like VLC or uploaded directly to YouTube. Users often encounter these files when digging through old backups, only to find they cannot view their memories. To convert a PZS file, you typically must locate a working copy of the original authoring software, open the project (ensuring all image paths are restored), and use the "Export" or "Save as Video" function.
Convert.Guru analyzes your PZS file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
Users also converted P7S, PZA, VWT and PSPD files.
