The .PDP file extension is highly fragmented and serves multiple unrelated purposes across different industries. The most common uses are Printable Document Pointers for the DX Group web portal, protected digital textbooks for the bSmart publishing platform, and Portable Document Format files generated by Adobe Photoshop to preserve editing capabilities. In specific regional contexts, such as the French Chorus Pro invoicing platform, a .PDP file acts as a Proof of Deposit containing structural data. Other niche uses include Milime kitchen design projects and Mindray ultrasound system presets.
