The Problem: Users often attempt to open these with standard tools like 7-Zip or WinRAR, only to encounter "Unknown Format" errors. This is because .NUP archives use custom compression and encryption headers specific to the console (Xbox/PlayStation) or PC build they were designed for. They are not meant to be double-clicked.
