About LPB files
A .lpb file typically represents a proprietary label or sign design created in MAX BepopPC, a pilot logbook backup generated by Coradine LogTen, or a laser engraving project from LaserPecker. These files exist to lock users into a specific hardware or software ecosystem.
You generally need the exact native software like MAX BepopPC, LogTen Pro, or the LaserPecker app to open these files correctly. As proprietary formats, .lpb files are incredibly restrictive. You cannot open them natively on macOS, Windows, or iOS without installing the application they were created in. If you receive an .lpb label file but do not own a MAX Bepop printer or expensive software license, the file is entirely useless for viewing or printing. LogTen backup files are slightly better as they are often just ZIP archives in disguise, but they are still not meant to be read directly without the host database.
If you have a MAX Bepop design, your ideal target format is PDF or JPG for sharing, though layer and vector data might be lost. If you have a LogTen backup, renaming or extracting it as a ZIP is the best workaround to recover your raw data. For LaserPecker files, exporting directly from their app to standard SVG or DXF is highly recommended to avoid vendor lock-in.
Standard online converters usually fail with .lpb files because the format structure is undocumented, highly fragmented, and closed-source. Emphasize that often only the original software can properly read or export the data. However, convert.guru can still identify the file format, inspect the file, and show text or internal content. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format - like a standard ZIP archive in the case of LogTen backups - viewing or conversion may still be possible. Drag and drop your file to see what it is and convert or extract it if supported.
Convert.Guru analyzes your LPB file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
If you want to convert LPB file to EXE, ISO, BIN, CUE, PAK, WAD, PK3, PK4, BSP, MAP, SAV or DAT, you can use MAX BepopPC or similar software from the "Label and Sign Design" category. In the File menu, look for Save As… or Export….
To convert MOD, BIN, CFG, SCX, DAT, MPQ, LOG, CUE, INI, EXE, SCM or ISO files to LPB, try MAX BepopPC or another comparable tool in the "Label and Sign Design" category.
The LPB Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our LPB converter.
