For users outside the Apple ecosystem, .KTH files present significant friction. They utilize a proprietary Apple "package" format - essentially a folder structure that appears as a single file on macOS but may behave like a standard folder on Windows or Linux, often breaking the file's integrity during transfer. Opening these files natively on a PC is impossible without specific workarounds or conversion. Additionally, because they often contain high-resolution background assets, file sizes can be unexpectedly large.
