A .KOALA file is a song and project package created by Koala Sampler, a popular mobile and desktop beat-making application. These files act as containers that store everything needed to reconstruct a beat, including imported vocal chops, recorded drum hits, applied effect settings, and sequencer timing data.
Developed by Elf Audio, Koala Sampler is widely used for fast, intuitive music production. However, because .KOALA is a proprietary project format, it cannot be opened by standard media players or imported directly into major Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Ableton Live or FL Studio.
